The Village of Interlaken is thrilled to introduce TextMyGov, a convenient and smart text messaging service! This service will enable residents to effortlessly receive important notifications and easily find specific information by texting the city.

Residents may receive a text message from 91896 from the Village initiating the service. You can choose to opt-out at any time by texting STOP.

If you don’t receive the initial message, you can choose to opt-in by texting the keyword “INTERLAKEN WATER” to the number 91896. After sending the initial keyword, you will be asked to reply “YES” to confirm opt-in. Residents may receive notifications for water breaks, boil-water notices, flooding, etc. For specific text alerts, text one of the following keywords to the number 91896:




• General notifications: text INTERLAKEN to 91896
